The dog is a sociable animal which lives in group. It lives in hierarchical group which are composed of a male and of a female “alpha” followed of the remainder of the group which divides the remainder of the group to various degrees. The stronger the temperament of an individual is, the more it will be close to alpha. Alpha of a group make all the decisions. It is also them which protect the group, reproduce, etc. Never a dog of lower row will not try to pass over alpha of the group. * If you are the Alpha member of your group, it is not very probable that your male dog, not operated, raises the leg and delimits its territory because in fact only the males alpha reproduce.
Sociability of the puppy
the early social development in the pup determines that he will be a sociable adult and extraverti. On the contrary, a pup which does not receive little or not stimulis apprehensive and will be reserved. This said, it is never too late for to socialize the dog even if that takes more time than with a young pup. It is, therefore FALSE to say that a dog is irremediable. ALL the dogs are recoverable. Only, in a dog without adequate social development, it is difficult to find the suitable master. The contact with the human ones and the other dogs are essential with the social development of the pup. A pup coming from kennels will not have any social structure. It will be to its new Master to initiate it.
The age of sociability
As of the birth we can see an established social order . Various growth rates, the choice of the udder, positions of sleep in relation to the mother and other pups. Around 4 weeks old, the social relations start to evolve/move by the game between the pups. The game is very important because it is the first factor of independence, of predominance. It is there that the hierarchy takes shape.
